URGENT HIRING – Retail Supervisor (Full-Time)

Location: Cyberjaya

We're expanding and looking for an experienced, motivated, and hands-on Retail Supervisor to lead our team at our new store in Cyberjaya.

Key Responsibilities

Store Operations & Sales Performance

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail outlet to ensure smooth and efficient store performance.
• Drive sales performance by supporting initiatives to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Analyse sales trends, customer insights, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Execute promotional campaigns, marketing activities, festive events, and seasonal initiatives effectively.

Customer Service Excellence

• Deliver outstanding customer service and create an exceptional shopping experience.
• Build strong product knowledge to confidently assist customers and recommend suitable products.
• Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly.

Team Leadership & Staff Management

• Lead, supervise, coach, and motivate the retail team to achieve operational and sales goals.
• Prepare staff duty rosters and manage attendance, leave, and manpower planning.
• Conduct on-the-job training on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service standards.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance working culture.

Inventory & Merchandising

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment to ensure product availability.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support regular stock-taking activities.
• Ensure products are correctly priced, well-stocked, and merchandised according to company standards and promotional requirements.

Cash & Administrative Management

• Oversee cash handling procedures, daily sales reconciliation, and operational reporting.
• Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, expenses, and store documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and internal controls.

Store Maintenance & Compliance

• Maintain a clean, organised, safe, and welcoming retail environment.
• Ensure compliance with food safety requirements, workplace safety standards, and company policies.
• Stay updated on new products, promotions, and company initiatives to support business growth.

Requirements

• Diploma or higher qualification in any field.
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Previous experience in retail operations, retail supervision, supermarkets, FMCG, or a similar customer-facing leadership role is preferred.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-focused with a positive, proactive, and hands-on attitude.
• Able to work independently while leading and developing a team.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
• Experience in hospitality, aviation, hotel operations, food retail, or other customer service industries is an added advantage.
