Field Service Engineer / Technician

Your mission as the Field Service Engineer is to provide expert repair services for our technology solutions, delivering unmatched customer satisfaction and upholding the highest standards of safety. You are committed to ensuring the performance and longevity of your customers technology through your expertise. Your work is important for supporting the operational success and technological advancement of industries relying on these technologies.

You will

• Strictly follow and adhere to rental processes and procedures in all day-to-day activities.
• Promote and consistently practice proper safety procedures, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Manage the rental checkout process, conduct evaluations before and after rentals, and perform periodic quality checks, service, and maintenance.
• Carry out equipment installation, commissioning, decommissioning, and troubleshooting at customer job sites.
• Perform electrical wiring, repairs, and troubleshooting on rental fleet equipment.
• Report and investigate all instances of service failure or non-conformance, recommend preventative actions, and initiate remedial action with managerial approval.
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping at all times and adhere to a clean desk policy to protect sensitive customer information.
• In conjunction with your manager, arrange and conduct operator training for rental customers on equipment checks, maintenance, and operating procedures.
• Support the Manager in all aspects of business operations and demonstrate the ability to work independently.
• Assist in maintaining the rental fleet's spare parts inventory, including data entry for all parts movements.
• Respond to customer inquiries related to rental services.
• Participate in the maintenance and continuous improvement of our Triple Certification systems.

• Diploma/ bachelor’s degree in electrical & electronic/ mechatronics engineering
• With basic troubleshooting ability and electrical knowledge
• Computer literacy and a self-starter with the ability to read & understand technical manuals and prepare service reports in English.
• Good interpersonal skills and communication skills
• Willing to work outdoors and overtime on ad-hoc basis when necessary.
• Responsible, able to maintain good customer relationships and respond to emergency and ad-hoc job assignments.
• Willingness to travel to any worksite/ branch for temporary job assignments mainly within southeast Asia.

Job location

You will be part of our customer center in Malaysia Shah Alam. You will join a dynamic field service team, working remotely and spending a significant amount of time traveling to visit customers within your designated area.
