Job Summary

The Drafter is responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings and documentation based on engineering designs, project requirements, and relevant standards. The role involves supporting project execution by producing detailed shop drawings, as-built drawings, and revisions while ensuring all drawings are up to date and comply with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare technical drawings, shop drawings, and detailed layouts using AutoCAD or other drafting software.
• Produce electrical, mechanical, civil, or architectural drawings according to project requirements.
• Revise drawings based on comments from engineers, consultants, or clients.
• Prepare and update as-built drawings throughout the project.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, company standards, and applicable regulations.
• Coordinate with engineers, project coordinators, site personnel, and consultants to obtain accurate design information.
• Maintain proper drawing registers, document control, and revision history.
• Assist in preparing material layouts, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings where required.
• Verify dimensions and quantities before issuing drawings for construction.
• Print, organize, and distribute drawings to relevant project teams.
• Archive completed drawings and maintain organized electronic records.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management related to drafting and technical documentation.

Pay: From RM700.00 per month
