Develop, implement, and continuously improve security policies, standards, procedures, and best practices.
Monitor the effectiveness of security and fire protection systems and recommend enhancement initiatives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with external authorities, including Police, Customs, and Bomba, to assess risks and strengthen security measures.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure governance, regulatory compliance, business continuity, and a safe working environment.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Security Management, Safety & Health, Environmental Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of corporate security, site security, and contractor management.
Experience in waste management governance and environmental compliance.
Good understanding of fire protection systems, emergency preparedness, and regulatory requirements.
Proven experience in incident investigation, risk assessment, and audit management.
Familiarity with Malaysian legal and regulatory requirements related to security, fire safety, and environmental compliance.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated leadership with the ability to build trust, develop teams, and drive results.
Proficient in spoken and written English; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia is an added advantage.
