• Develop AI applications that integrate LLMs (OpenAI GPT, Claude, Azure OpenAI) into business processes via API integration and prompt engineering.
• Build and maintain AI automation workflows using n8n, Power Automate, or similar tools, with guidance from senior team members.
• Assist in developing AI agent systems for document processing, data extraction, and conversational interactions.
• Create and deploy internal AI tools and chatbots serving employees across the APAC region.
• Integrate AI solutions with existing systems and data sources via APIs.
• Prototype quickly — turn business ideas into working AI applications, gather feedback, and iterate.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field. Candidates without a degree but with strong portfolios and demonstrable AI development skills are welcome to apply.

Must-Have

• Python programming: Clean, functional Python code. This is your primary working language
• Hands-on LLM/AI API experience: You’ve called LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude, Azure OpenAI, etc.), written prompts, and built something with the results.
• AI-assisted development tools: You actively use Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar to code faster and better
• Git fundamentals: Version control, branching, pull requests — you can work in a team codebase

Strong Advantage

• AI workflow / automation experience (n8n, Power Automate, Make, Zapier) — especially with AI steps
• RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation): connecting LLMs to external data sources.
• API development: built REST APIs (FastAPI, Flask, Express), not just consumed them.
• Prompt engineering depth: chain-of-thought, few-shot, function calling / tool use, structured outputs
• Deployed an AI app or tool that others actually use (even small scale)
• Any cloud platform experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Nice-To-Have
• Azure AI services (Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Cognitive Services)
• Cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Azure Synapse, BigQuery)
• AI agent frameworks and protocols (MCP, A2A, CrewAI, AutoGen, LangGraph)
• Vector databases (Pinecone, ChromaDB, pgvector)
• Docker basics
• Front-end basics (HTML/CSS/JavaScript or React) for AI app interfaces
• Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio)
• Communication in Mandarin or Cantonese

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
