• Candidates must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field. 
• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering is an added advantage. 
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar manufacturing role. 
• Experience in the cosmetics, personal care, pharmaceutical, food, or FMCG manufacturing industry is preferred. 
• Knowledge of industrialisation processes, process improvement, product validation, and manufacturing operations. 
• Proficient in AutoCAD or DraftSight is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with ISO, GMP, Lean Manufacturing, or Continuous Improvement methodologies will be an advantage.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and innovative Industrial Engineer to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for industrialising new products from development to production, improving manufacturing processes, conducting product trials, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead New Product Industrialisation

Lead industrialisation activities for new product development by conducting product validation, industrialisation testing, trial runs, and preparing samples to ensure successful production implementation within the required timeline.

2. Drive Process Development and Optimisation

Develop, evaluate, and optimise blending processes, production methods, manufacturing workflows, and production processes. Evaluate, recommend and coordinate the purchase and implementation of new machinery and equipment when required to improve quality, productivity, cost efficiency, and operational performance.

3. Manage Cross-Functional Project Execution

Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Production, R&D, Packaging Development and other NPD team, to ensure smooth product transfer into production, resolve process-related issues, and deliver projects within timeline.

4. Monitor Performance and Continuous Improvement

Analyse departmental performance, and project progress; investigate production issues; implement effective corrective and preventive actions; and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

5. Ensure Compliance with Quality, Safety and Regulatory Standards

Support the implementation and maintenance of ISO, GMP, 5S, and other quality management systems, and perform duties as a Safety and Health Committee member in compliance with OSHA requirements.
