The Import Customer Service Executive is tasked with overseeing and coordinating freight forwarding activities to guarantee prompt, compliant, and effective shipment management. The main responsibilities include:

• Customer & Vendor Interaction Act as the main point of contact for customers and vendors, delivering updates, clarifications, and assistance throughout the shipping process.
• Booking & Job Oversight Manage bookings with shipping lines, initiate jobs in the TMS system, and follow up on Notices of Arrival (NOA) and Export Delivery Orders (EDO) releases.
• Charge & Compliance Oversight Track detention and demurrage (D&D) and storage fees for import shipments, monitor customs document status in Northport and Westport systems, and draft customs letters for the relevant departments.
• Container & Vessel Management Organize the dispatch of laden and empty containers, prepare e-gate passes for hauliers, track vessel positions using Marine Traffic, and supervise the discharge of import containers.
• Documentation Review Verify customs documents against draft Bills of Lading prior to confirmation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Quotation & Cost Assessment Examine vendor quotations and charges to ensure they are competitive and correct.
