Job Overview
The HR Manager (APAC) will serve as a strategic partner to leadership, ensuring that AYP’s people practices support the company’s growth, culture, and operational excellence across the region.
This role goes beyond traditional HR administration. It requires a forward thinking HR professional who understands how people strategy, organisational clarity, and leadership development contribute to business success.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Management & Development
- Lead talent acquisition strategies to attract high quality professionals aligned with AYP’s values and capabilities.
- Develop structured onboarding programs that set new hires up for success.
- Support performance management processes that encourage accountability and clarity in expectations.
Strategic HR Partnership
- Partner with leadership team to translate business goals into effective people strategies.
- Provide advisory on organisational design, workforce planning, and leadership development.
- Ensure HR initiatives support the company’s growth across APAC markets.
Culture & Employee Experience
- Strengthen AYP’s organisational culture by reinforcing values of collaboration, integrity, commitment, passion, and value creation.
- Design initiatives that promote engagement, learning, and leadership development.
- Ensure employees across regions feel supported, aligned, and empowered to perform.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Oversee HR policies, procedures, and compliance across APAC jurisdictions.
- Ensure HR practices align with local employment regulations and governance standards.
- Maintain structured HR systems, records, and reporting processes to support operational efficiency.
Leadership Support & Advisory
- Provide guidance to managers on people matters including performance management, conflict resolution, and team development.
- Equip leaders with frameworks and tools to manage their teams effectively.
- Support leadership in building high-performing, collaborative teams.
Key Requirements
- 7–10 years of HR experience, preferably within regional or multi-country environments.
- Strong understanding of talent management, organisational development, and employee engagement.
- Experience supporting leadership teams and providing HR advisory at a strategic level.
- Familiarity with employment regulations across APAC markets is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
