Job Purpose

To assist and support finance team in daily accounting operations, data entry, and financial reporting. This position provides hand-on experience in various accounting functions and exposure to real-world financial management practices.

Educational Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.

Experience

• Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records and documentation.
• Perform data entry of invoices, receipts, and payments into the accounting system.
• Help reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
• Support in preparing monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
• Assist in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) tasks.
• Verify accuracy of financial transactions and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist the Asset team in monitoring the company's motor vehicle insurance and road tax, including coordinating timely renewals and maintaining related records.
• Monitor the company's staff housing rental portfolio, prepare rental payment summaries, and process Purchase Requisitions (PRs).
• Help maintain proper filing of accounting documents and records.
• Support the finance team during audits and month-end closings.
• Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements & Skills

• Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel, and basic knowledge with accounting software (e.g., SQL Accounting and QuickBooks)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
