Import & Export Executive (Sea Freight)

Location: Subang Jaya, Selangor / Penang (1 vacancy per location)

Salary: Up to RM5,000 (depending on experience)

Employment Type: 6-month contract (Renewable based on business needs and performance)

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily import, export, and transshipment sea freight operations to ensure smooth and timely shipment execution.
• Coordinate with overseas offices, customers, carriers, shipping lines, and internal stakeholders regarding shipment status and operational requirements.
• Respond promptly to customer and overseas office enquiries while delivering excellent customer service.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation, billing, and costing accurately and within the required timelines.
• Ensure all operational activities comply with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), regulatory requirements, and global compliance standards.
• Monitor shipment progress and resolve operational issues proactively to minimize service disruptions.
• Identify, report, and follow up on service failures while supporting continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate customer and shipment records in the system and ensure timely updates.
• Achieve operational KPIs and service standards established by the management and global operations team.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in sea freight import and/or export operations within a freight forwarding or logistics environment.
• Good understanding of sea freight import/export processes and shipping documentation.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English.
• Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-oriented with a strong commitment to delivering quality service and meeting operational KPIs.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
