Key Responsibilities
- Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules (MPS) to meet customer orders and optimize capacity.
- Inventory Control: Monitor raw material availability and inventory levels to ensure no production stoppages due to shortages.
- Coordination: Collaborate with production supervisors, procurement, and sales teams to align manufacturing targets with supply chain constraints.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve production bottlenecks or material shortages, adjusting schedules as necessary.
- Data & Reporting: Update production data in ERP/MRP systems, run reports on productivity, OTD, and variances.
- Continuous Improvement: Propose improvements to enhance productivity and reduce production costs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Often requires 1–3 years of experience in production planning or manufacturing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Abilities: Strong organizational skills, problem-solving under pressure, and strong communication skills.
Pay: RM1,842.90 - RM2,500.00 per month
