Job Description

Responsibilities

Shiobee is a French-Korean fusion café in Seksyen 12, Petaling Jaya, specializing in handcrafted pastries and artisanal bakes. Best known for our signature Shiopan (Japanese-Korean salted butter roll), we are committed to quality, creativity, and delivering a warm, memorable café experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead the daily operations of the café to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Manage, coach, and motivate the front-of-house team to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Schedule staff shifts and monitor attendance, punctuality, and performance.
  • Ensure all food, beverages, and customer service meet company quality standards.
  • Handle customer feedback, complaints, and service recovery professionally.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock ordering, receiving, and replenishment.
  • Ensure cleanliness, food safety, hygiene, and company SOPs are consistently followed.
  • Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching to improve team performance.
  • Prepare daily sales reports, monitor store performance, and report operational issues to management.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and bakery teams to ensure efficient operations and product availability.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS reconciliation.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Operations Manager or Management.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum SPM, Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within the F&B, café, or retail industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service and team management abilities.
  • Ability to speak Mandarin is an advantage to better serve Mandarin-speaking customers.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in POS systems and basic computer skills.
  • Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Mandarin-speaking candidates are preferred.
  • Malaysian only.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
