1. Cost Estimation & Contract Administration

• Assist in preparing quotations, tender submissions, and Bills of Quantities (BQ).
• Support measurement works and quantity take-off for pre-tender and post-contract stages.
• Assist in evaluating subcontractor quotations and preparing commercial comparisons.
• Support subcontract negotiation and award process based on cost and compliance.
• Assist in monthly progress valuation, interim claims, and payment assessments.
• Support review of variation orders (VO), extension of time (EOT), and related contractual claims.
• Assist in project cost control, budget monitoring, and contract documentation.

2. Procurement & Material Management

• Assist in sourcing and obtaining quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Compare pricing, specifications, lead time, and vendor performance for cost effectiveness.
• Support material planning, procurement, and delivery coordination with site teams.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain updated vendor records.
• Ensure procurement activities align with project budget and schedule.

3. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare basic cost reports, procurement updates, and supplier performance summaries.
• Maintain proper filing and document control for tender, contract, and project records.
• Assist in tracking project cost data, variations, and commercial documentation.

4. Coordination & Ad-Hoc Duties

• Liaise with client, consultants, contractors, supplier and project teams when required.
• Attend coordination meetings and support project communication.
• Conduct site visits when required for measurement, procurement support, or valuation works.
• Collaborate with Finance and Project teams to support commercial and procurement alignment.
• Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by Senior Quantity Surveyor or management.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
