Job Summary

Lead and coordinate construction teams to deliver quality projects on time while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Manage site inspections, stakeholder communications, and team development to drive successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead teams to deliver quality construction work within strict deadlines
• Monitor construction processes and conduct training and team-building sessions to enhance performance
• Enforce adherence to health and safety regulations throughout project sites
• Perform inspections of equipment, materials, and construction sites to ensure compliance and quality
• Schedule and lead regular meetings with vendors, site inspectors, managers, and staff to align project progress
• Prepare and present reports, budgets, and project plans to relevant stakeholders for informed decision-making
• Collaborate closely with architects and other professionals to ensure project specifications are met
• Stay informed on current safety codes and advancements in construction methods to maintain best practices
• Assist in recruiting and training new staff to build a competent project team
• Manage project documentation and travel to multiple sites as required to oversee operations
• Communicate effectively in English and Mandarin to support diverse team and stakeholder interactions
• Work flexibly, including weekends and public holidays, to meet project demands

Required competencies and certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in the construction industry
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin for effective communication

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in a leadership role within construction projects
• Additional technical qualifications or certifications related to construction
