Minimum Qualification : Minimum Diploma in Food Technology / Food Science / Nutrition / Biotechnology / Chemistry or other related fields. Degree holders are encouraged to apply.

Years of Experience       : Minimum 0-2 years of working experience in the related fields. Fresh graduate are welcomed to apply.

Skills                                  :

Candidate must be able to perform product inspection, quality control (QC) documentation, and sensory evaluation, including assessing products based on taste, smell, appearance, and other quality attributes.

This role involves sensory evaluation activities, which may include tasting products as part of routine quality control procedures.

1. Good attention to detail, colour differentiation, and observation skills for quality inspection.

2. Able to move between work areas and perform routine inspection activities as required.

3. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

4. Experience in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or health supplement manufacturing industry is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality inspections and sensory evaluations for raw materials, finished goods, and investigate any quality issues.

• Prepare and review supporting documents such as Specifications, COAs, Flow Charts, MSDS, and other quality-related documentation.

• Manage regulatory submissions for AB premixes and coordinate with OEM vendors for applications of finished goods.

• Oversee IPQC laboratory activities, including 5S implementation, retention sample management, laboratory testing, and annual equipment calibration.

• Perform weekly and monthly production area inspections to ensure compliance with the quality and food safety system and issue CARs for any nonconformities.
  

Others / Ad-hoc Tasks

• Carry out other related duties or assignments as directed by the superior, relevant to the current job scope.

• Support process improvement, system enhancement, and workflow optimization within the QA/QC Department.

• Participate in cross-functional meetings or projects to ensure alignment with company goals.

• Provide documentation or administrative support for audits, quality reviews, or special projects.

Knowledge & Experience

• Proficiency in quality inspection and sensory evaluation.

• Good understanding of food science and lab testing principles.

• Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

• Document preparation & review competency.

• Knowledge of Garis Panduan Pelabelan Malaysia and regulatory submission processes.

• Basic lab testing & equipment calibration knowledge.
