Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (M&E)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor with a strong Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) background to manage cost planning, contract administration, and commercial aspects of M&E works. The role will support project delivery by ensuring cost efficiency, compliance, and value optimization throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for M&E works
• Evaluate contractor quotations and perform cost comparison analysis
• Manage contract administration, including variations, claims, and final accounts
• Monitor project costs and provide regular financial reporting
• Conduct site valuations and progress claims assessment
• Liaise with project managers, consultants, and contractors on commercial matters
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms and project specifications
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and risk mitigation strategies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
• Minimum [3–8] years of experience in Quantity Surveying with M&E exposure
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, etc.)
• Familiar with standard forms of contracts (e.g., PAM, FIDIC)
• Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
• Proficient in cost management software and MS Office
