Position: Java Developer

Employment Type: Permanent

Location: Singapore

Working Arrangement: Onsite, 5 days a week (Monday to Friday)

Working Hours in MY time: 9AM - 6PM

About the Role

We are looking for a Java Developer with hands-on experience supporting Java applications in production. The ideal candidate has strong debugging, troubleshooting, and production support experience, preferably within banking or other mission-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 production support for Java-based applications and resolve critical incidents.
• Troubleshoot issues involving Java, SQL, APIs, Kafka, and distributed systems.
• Monitor applications using Splunk/Kibana and support deployments with Jenkins and OpenShift/Kubernetes.
• Optimize SQL queries and support MariaDB or other RDBMS databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system stability and performance.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience with Java (Core, Spring Boot, Microservices), Hibernate, SQL, and Kafka.
• Knowledge of API security, exception handling, ACID properties, and scalability concepts.
• Experience with Splunk/Kibana, Jenkins, OpenShift/Kubernetes, and MariaDB or other RDBMS.
• Exposure to Core Banking systems, transaction processing, and basic interest calculations.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Pay: $2,500.00 - $5,300.00 per month

Experience:

• Java: 1 year (Preferred)
• SQL: 1 year (Preferred)
