Job Summary**

Responsible for executing various testing activities to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications and systems within QSR Brands (M) Holdings Sdn Bhd. This role involves identifying, documenting, and tracking defects, and collaborating with development teams to deliver high-quality products.

Job Responsibilities**

• Develop, maintain, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans based on functional and non-functional requirements.
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Identify, document, and track defects using a bug tracking system, providing clear and concise defect descriptions.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Participate in review meetings for requirements, design, and test documentation.
• Contribute to the improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools.
• Provide regular progress reports on testing activities and defect status.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining test environments.
  
  

Job Qualifications**

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software testing roles.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail).
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle issues.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium) is a plus.
• Familiarity with database testing and SQL queries is an advantage.
