Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate BMC firmware features for Intel, AMD, and future server platforms.
• Drive BMC feature development from requirements analysis through implementation, validation, and production release.
• Collaborate with CSP customers to understand business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable BMC solutions.
• Create and maintain feature specifications, design documents, test plans, and technical documentation.
• Investigate, triage, debug, and resolve server BMC firmware issues across development and production environments.
• Work closely with BIOS, hardware, validation, system software, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful platform delivery.
• Provide timely technical support and root-cause analysis for customer-reported issues and drive corrective actions.
• Contribute to firmware architecture improvements, development best practices, and future server management technology roadmaps.

Skills & Experience

Must Have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in BMC, server firmware, embedded software, or platform software development.
• Experience with Intel and/or AMD server platforms.
• Knowledge of BMC technologies such as OpenBMC, Redfish, IPMI, or related management frameworks.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming and Linux-based development environments.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

Good to Have

• Experience supporting hyperscale CSP or cloud server platforms.
• Knowledge of Embedded Linux, Yocto, Python scripting, and firmware development workflows.
• Understanding of server security, remote management, and platform validation processes.
• Experience working directly with customers on technical issue resolution.
• Familiarity with CI/CD environments and automated firmware validation.
