GROUP GENERAL MANAGER, PROCUREMENT & SUPPLY CHAIN

Role Summar

yThe Group General Manager, Procurement & Supply Chain is responsible for leading and governing all procurement, contract management, warehousing, inventory, and supply chain functions at an enterprise level. The role drives procurement strategy, governance, cost optimisation, operational efficiency, and supply continuity while ensuring compliance with organisational policies and regulatory requirements

.This position reports directly to the Group CEO, President, and Board of Directors

.Key Responsibilitie

• sLead Group-wide procurement, sourcing, tendering, contract management, warehousing, and supply chain operations
• .Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with organisational objectives
• .Ensure strong governance, transparency, compliance, and risk management across all procurement activities
• .Drive procurement transformation, process improvement, and digitalisation initiatives
• .Oversee high-value contracts, supplier relationships, and strategic sourcing programmes
• .Ensure effective inventory management, warehousing operations, and supply chain resilience
• .Provide strategic advice to the CEO, President, and Board on procurement and commercial matters
• .Build a high-performance culture and develop leadership capability across the function

.Leadership Scop

• eDirect reports: 6–10 senior leaders across Procurement, Warehousing, Inventory Management, Supply Chain, and related functions

.Requirement

• sDegree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or a related field. Postgraduate qualifications are an advantage
• .Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, including significant senior leadership experience in procurement and supply chain management
• .Proven experience leading procurement at a Group/Corporate Headquarters level, managing enterprise-wide procurement functions
• .Strong experience in governance, strategic sourcing, contract management, and procurement transformation
• .Preference for candidates from Government-Linked Companies (GLCs), statutory bodies, government departments, or other highly regulated organisations
• .Candidates must have Group-level procurement leadership experience and should not be limited to procurement roles within a subsidiary or business unit
