PROJECT ENGINEER

Location: Kuala Lumpur / Selangor

Employment Type: Contract (1 Year)

Experience: 1–3 Years

Salary: RM 5,500–6,500 (Negotiable, based on experience)

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated Project Engineer to join our team and contribute to the successful delivery of projects across Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.

• Role Descriptions

The Project Engineer will be responsible for managing and coordinating projects from commencement through completion. This role involves planning, monitoring project progress, coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers, and ensuring works are completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.

The successful candidate will also be involved in project planning, site coordination, technical documentation, procurement support, and resolving site-related technical issues.

• Key Responsibilities

Manage and supervise project activities from commencement to completion.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.

Monitor project progress, quality, safety, and compliance with specifications and project schedules.

Prepare project documentation, reports, progress updates, and meeting minutes.

Coordinate material procurement, deliveries, manpower, and site resources.

Attend site meetings and resolve technical or construction-related issues.

Prepare, monitor, and update project schedules using Microsoft Project.

Review engineering drawings and ensure compliance with project requirements and company standards.

Support testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

1–3 years of experience in project or site engineering. Experience in ACMV or M&E projects is an added advantage.

Proficient in AutoCAD and able to interpret engineering and construction drawings.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project.

Strong communication, coordination, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a project team.

Possess a valid driving licence and be willing to travel to project sites within Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.
