Ormond Group is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to support our finance department. This internship offers a unique opportunity for individuals interested in finance and accounting to gain practical experience in a dynamic and rapidly growing company. As a Finance Intern, you will work closely with our finance professionals and contribute to various finance and accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Assist in processing invoices, preparing payment vouchers, and managing accounts payable and receivable.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and financial analyses to support decision-making.
• Expense Tracking: Help track and categorize expenses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Bank Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling bank statements and identifying discrepancies.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities, including data collection and analysis.
• Audit Support: Provide support during internal and external audits, including organizing financial records and documentation.
• Financial Systems: Gain experience working with financial software and systems, helping to maintain accurate financial records.
• Ad hoc Projects: Assist with special finance projects as assigned by the finance team.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Basic understanding of financial principles and accounting concepts.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
