Role Description This Human Resources Intern role is an internship position based in Petaling Jaya with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing a combination of on-site and work-from-home days. The intern will support day-to-day HR operations, including maintaining employee records, assisting with HR documentation, and helping coordinate onboarding and orientation activities. Responsibilities include supporting HR initiatives related to policies, employee benefits, and personnel administration, as well as preparing reports, updating HR systems, and assisting with recruitment processes such as scheduling interviews and screening applications. The intern may also help organize employee engagement activities, training logistics, and internal communications, while collaborating with HR team members and other departments a

Qualifications

  • Foundational knowledge of Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with an interest in learning HR best practices in a corporate environment.
  • Understanding of HR Policies and Employee Benefits, and ability to assist in implementing and communicating these to employees.
  • Basic skills in Personnel Management, including handling employee data with accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity.
  • Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team and interact professionally with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools; familiarity with HR systems or databases is an advantage.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and adaptability to a hybrid work environment.
