Role Description This posting is for the position of Computing Lecturer / Senior Lecturer role for the School of Computing and Creative Media at UOW Malaysia. It is a full-time, on-site position based in Selangor, Malaysia. The role involves designing and delivering engaging lectures, tutorials, and assessments aligned with program outcomes and accreditation requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising student projects, providing academic advising, and offering constructive feedback to support learner success. The Lecturer / Senior Lecturer is expected to conduct and publish research, seek external funding where relevant, and contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement of teaching materials. The role also requires participation in academic committees, collaboration with industry and community partners, and active engagement in outreach and professional development activities that enhance the university’s academic profile.

Qualifications

• Relevant postgraduate qualification (Master’s or PhD) in the field of computing, software engineering or information systems
• Degree holders with experience may apply for consideration.
• Candidates with experience related to AI, data science, cybersecurity or programming will be given preference.
• Prior experience in teaching for higher education including curriculum design, delivery of lectures, assessment development, academic administration, program coordination, student mentoring and research will be an added advantage.
