We are looking for a Python Backend Tech Lead to lead a backend engineering team while staying hands on in building high performance systems. You will also be responsible for leading backend development, setting technical direction, improving engineering standards, reviewing code quality, and ensuring systems are designed for scalability, security, and long term growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong hands on experience in backend development using Python
- Minimum 3 years of experience leading a technology or product development team
- Experience managing, mentoring, and guiding backend developers
- Strong knowledge of software architecture, system design, and design patterns
- Experience with SDLC and software quality assurance practices
- Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and microservices systems
- Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka
- Experience developing microservices and managing containerized applications
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration tools
- Experience building WebSocket based systems is an advantage
- Knowledge of frontend development is an added advantage
- Strong understanding of web security standards and best practices
- Experience in code optimization and performance tuning
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team collaboration abilities
Pay: Up to RM16,000.00 per month
