CFI, a finance brokerage company, is looking for experienced Data Engineers to join its expanding technology team based in Damansara Uptown, Petaling Jaya.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Python.
• Strong proficiency in writing and optimising SQL queries.
• Good understanding of database design, data modelling, data mining, and data segmentation.
• Experience building ETL processes and supporting scalable data transformation workflows.
• Knowledge of metadata management, workload optimisation, and data architecture.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Databricks, Dataflow, or Apache Spark is an advantage.
• Experience with Prefect, MLflow, or similar workflow orchestration tools is a plus.
• Exposure to Machine Learning or Deep Learning deployment is an added advantage.
• Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and develop scalable data solutions.
• Design, build, and maintain databases, data pipelines, and data collection systems.
• Develop and optimise ETL processes using Python.
• Acquire, process, and manage data from multiple internal and external sources.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across all data platforms.
• Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.
• Maintain documentation for data engineering processes and technical architecture.
• Develop and enhance data science infrastructure, including experiment tracking, feature stores, and A/B testing platforms.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to deliver reliable, high-quality data solutions.
