Job Summary:

This position is concerned with all general repairs and ensure that preventative maintenance works for Guestrooms / Public areas are effectively carried out.

Due to visa limitations, only locals will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Keeps time on Handyman and report to Senior Section Engineer / Assistant Maintenance Manager on daily briefings.
• Require maintain record of material store stock under his care.
• Assist in carpentry and other major work as may be required.
• Maintain workshop tools, equipment and all related engineering areas in a clean and neat condition at all times.
• Initiates all cost control programmers on project work.
• To assist other technicians where required.
• Responsible for arranging daily work order, maintenance job request, guest comments and ensure all works carried out satisfactory.
• Log in all daily works in a daily Log Book.
• To assist in updating bin cards and re-order parts in the absence of Supervisor.
• To help Supervisor in filling the form and summarize all issuing inventory items on daily basis in the absence of Supervisor.
• Attend any complaints by guests and management.
• Performs any special duties assigned by the Senior Section Engineer / Assistant Maintenance Manager

Qualifications:

· Specialized knowledge

· Professional certification

· Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

· Able to provide supportive information related to the job.

· Able to meet required standard

· Minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar capacity
