Responsibilities
The IT Project Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and successful delivery of IT projects by coordinating project activities, monitoring progress, facilitating communication among stakeholders, and ensuring project documentation is maintained. This role works closely with project managers, technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with organizational standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and support the execution of multiple IT projects from initiation through completion.
Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, action items, and project documentation.
Organize and facilitate project meetings, prepare agendas, record meeting minutes, and track follow-up actions.
Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks, issues, and potential delays.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure project tasks are completed according to agreed timelines.
Assist in gathering, documenting, and managing business and technical requirements.
Track project budgets, resource allocation, and project expenditures where applicable.
Maintain project status reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Coordinate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
Support project governance by ensuring compliance with organizational policies, project methodologies, and documentation standards.
Assist with change management, communication planning, and user adoption activities.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment planning, and post-implementation reviews.
Maintain project repositories and ensure all project documentation is accurate and up to date.
Perform administrative duties related to project management as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Law, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in IT project coordination, project administration, or a similar role.
Experience supporting software implementation, infrastructure, cloud, or digital transformation projects is an advantage.
The candidate good with documentation, language, and meticulous in nature is a must.
Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, Asana, *************).
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.
Familiarity with IT systems, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and IT infrastructure concepts.
Experience with reporting and dashboard preparation is an advantage.
