Job Description

Work Location : Artisan Alley Cafe Sdn Bhd
EMPIRE CITY , HEXTAR WORLD

Working Hours: 10.00AM - 10.00PM - Rotational Shift

· Food Preparation:

• Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, peeling, and portioning.
• Prepare simple dishes and assist in the preparation of more complex dishes.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely and efficient manner.

· Quality Control:

• Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
• Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistency and quality.

· Kitchen Hygiene:

• Ensure all kitchen areas are clean and organized.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Clean and sanitize workstations, utensils, and equipment.

· Team Support:

• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Assist senior chefs as needed and take on additional tasks as required.

· Inventory Management:

• Assist in the management of inventory, including checking deliveries and storing ingredients properly.
• Report any stock shortages or quality issues to the Procurement team.

· Learning and Development:

• Continuously improve culinary skills by learning from senior chefs.
• Stay updated with current food trends and cooking techniques.

Requirements

· Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Culinary school diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.

· Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen environment.

· Skills:

• Basic culinary skills and knowledge of kitchen operations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Willing to work rotating shifts, weekend and public holidays
• Ability to perform detailed work quickly, safely and to comply with company SOP

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
