Business Development Executive (Restaurant & Café Solutions)

Job Summary

The Business Development Executive is responsible for expanding Urban Farm Tech's presence in the restaurant and café industry by promoting the EVA Farm Wall and Sweet Basil solutions. This role focuses on acquiring new customers, building long-term partnerships, and helping F&B businesses enhance their customer experience through fresh, on-site urban farming.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and approach restaurants, cafés, hotels, and F&B operators to introduce Urban Farm Tech's solutions.

Promote and sell the EVA Farm Wall as a customer engagement, interior enhancement, and sustainability solution.

Promote the supply of fresh Sweet Basil and educate customers on its culinary applications.

Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and site visits to prospective customers.

Prepare quotations, proposals, and follow up until successful project closure.

Build and maintain strong relationships with restaurant owners, café operators, chefs, and purchasing personnel.

Achieve monthly sales targets and business development KPIs.

Identify opportunities for recurring revenue through maintenance services, basil supply, and future farm expansion.

Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth installation and customer onboarding.

Gather market intelligence, competitor information, and customer feedback to improve products and services.

Participate in food exhibitions, networking events, and promotional activities to generate new business opportunities.

Maintain accurate sales records, customer databases, and sales reports.

Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Passionate about food, sustainability, and urban farming.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.

Able to travel for customer visits.

Possess a valid driving licence and own transportation is an advantage.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Monthly sales revenue achieved.

Number of new restaurant and café accounts acquired.

Minimum customer visits and presentations conducted each week.

Proposal-to-sales conversion rate.

Customer retention and repeat business.

Number of EVA Farm Wall installations secured.

Growth in recurring Sweet Basil supply accounts.

Timely follow-up and closure of customer enquiries

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
