Purpose of the Role:

To provide safe, reliable, and highly confidential transportation services to the Group Managing Director (GMD). The successful outcome of this role ensures the GMD arrives at all scheduled meetings, corporate events, and personal appointments punctually, safely, and comfortably, while maintaining the vehicle in pristine condition.

Job Scope:

• Safe & Punctual Transportation: Drive the GMD to and from office premises, business meetings, official events, and designated destinations safely and strictly according to schedule.
• Route Planning: Plan optimal travel routes by monitoring traffic updates, road closures, and weather conditions in advance to minimize transit delays.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Responsible for the daily cleanliness (interior and exterior), upkeep, and basic maintenance check-ups of the corporate vehicle (e.g., fuel levels, tire pressure, oil levels, and battery condition).
• Service & Compliance Management: Coordinate and follow up on regular servicing schedules, vehicle inspections (e.g., Puspakom, if applicable), road tax renewals, and insurance coverage.
• Flexible Availability: Commit to flexible working hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays, depending on the GMD's schedule and travel demands.
• Errand Execution: Assist the GMD with ad-hoc requests, such as delivering urgent and confidential corporate documents, handling vehicle-related payments, or picking up guests.

Job Requirements:

• Licensing: Valid driving license (Class D or equivalent) with a clean driving record and zero active traffic violations/summons.
• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years’ of experience as a personal, executive, or VIP driver, ideally serving C-suite executives or expatriates.
• Able to converse in English
• Geographical Knowledge: Excellent familiarity with major routes, highways, and commercial areas across the Greater Kuala Lumpur / Klang Valley region.
• Technical Skills: Professional defensive driving skills and basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues on the spot.
• Tech Literacy: Proficiency in using navigation applications (e.g., Waze, Google Maps) and communication tools (e.g WhatsApp).
• Familiarity with Electric Vehicle (EV) charging and operation will be an added advantage.
• Able to work extra hours when required.
