Role Description The Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kulai. This position is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of customer accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for clients, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction. Day-to-day tasks include handling inquiries, preparing quotations, coordinating order processing, and following up on deliveries and after-sales support. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, supporting negotiations, and collaborating with internal teams such as sales, operations, and finance to meet client requirements. The Account Manager will maintain accurate records of client interactions, monitor account performance, and prepare regular reports to support business decision-making.
Qualifications

• Strong client relationship management skills, including the ability to build trust, maintain long-term partnerships, and provide responsive customer service.
• Solid commercial and negotiation skills, with experience in handling quotations, pricing discussions, and contract terms.
• Good organizational and coordination abilities to manage multiple accounts, follow up on orders, and work effectively with internal teams.
• Proficiency in basic office software and business communication tools, with clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Relevant experience in account management, sales support, or customer service, preferably in manufacturing, industrial products, or related sectors.
• Ability to work on-site in Kulai, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and take initiative to solve problems and improve processes.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills are an advantage for communicating with diverse clients and stakeholders.
