To assist in the preparation and cooking of food according to the resort's recipes and quality standards while maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety in the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food according to standard recipes and procedures.
• Ensure all food is prepared and served in accordance with the resort's quality and hygiene standards.
• Prepare ingredients, including washing, cutting, marinating, and portioning food items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, workstations, equipment, and utensils.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food in accordance with food safety and hygiene requirements.
• Monitor stock levels and report any shortages or damaged items to the Chef.
• Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies and ingredients.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Head Chef or Management from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Minimum SPM or equivalent.
• Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts, Food Preparation, or a related field is an advantage.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a hotel, resort, or restaurant kitchen.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation, hygiene, and food safety practices.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Willing to work on rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
