Key Responsibilities
- Provide effective daily feedback and updates on work progress, operational issues, and shift activities during shift handovers.
- Carry out mould and machine preventive maintenance activities as assigned by the superior.
- Perform mould changes according to the production plan and ensure machine parameters are set and verified accordingly.
- Troubleshoot, rectify, and resolve moulded product quality issues.
- Lead by example and promote a positive, disciplined, and safety-conscious working culture.
- Communicate effectively with team members and cross-functional departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Encourage and motivate team members to achieve departmental and company objectives.
- Monitor mould and machine performance and promptly report any abnormalities for corrective actions such as servicing or repairs.
- Perform basic on-site mould maintenance, including parting line (PL) cleaning, lubricating leader pins, replacing nylon bushes, and other minor maintenance tasks.
- Ensure all idle moulds are properly protected with anti-rust treatment and stored according to established procedures.
- Ensure all operational records, reports, and documentation are completed accurately and maintained in an orderly manner.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in plastic injection moulding, mould maintenance, or a related manufacturing environment.
- Possess a Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Knowledge of injection moulding processes, mould setup, mould changeover, and machine parameter adjustment.
- Able to identify and resolve moulding defects and product quality issues.
- Willing to work on a rotating shift schedule, including overtime, weekends, and public holidays when required.
- Demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration skills across all areas of the business.
- Possess knowledge of mechanical, electrical, electronic, and mechatronic systems.
- Ability to analyse technical issues and implement practical solutions in a manufacturing environment.
- Able to perform preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting of moulds and injection moulding machines.

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
