Join QL Group as Cybersecurity Intern and work alongside experienced professionals to develop practical IT skills.

What will you learn and do?

• Support ongoing cybersecurity operations, governance, risk management, and compliance activities across QL Group.
• Maintain security documentation, risk registers, and track remediation action plans.
• Assist in cybersecurity awareness initiatives, compile security reports, and perform basic security assessments and research.
• Assist with routine cybersecurity operational and administrative tasks.
• Perform any other ad hoc duties assigned by Line Manager.

What you will need to have:

• Currently pursuing Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Security, or other related disciplines
• Have basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts, IT risk management, networking, or information security standards
• Good written and verbal communication skill
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Able to maintain confidentiality and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 security tools, vulnerability assessment, data analysis, or security awareness activities would be added advantage
• Possess own transport and able to be based at our HQ in Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam
