M&E Tender Estimator - Engineering Construction

Contract Period: Permenant
Working Days: Monday – Saturday (if necessary)
Working Hours: 8.30am - 5.30pm / 8.30am - 1.00pm
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the full tender process from invitation to submission.
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Prepare tender documentation, schedules, compliance checklists, and submission packages.
- Source and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Evaluate and compare quotations to ensure cost competitiveness and value.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, pricing analyses, and tender summaries.
- Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BQ), tender pricing, and project budgets.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Quantity Surveying (QS), Procurement, and Project teams to gather technical and commercial information.
- Ensure all tender submissions are accurate, complete, and submitted within specified deadlines.
- Maintain proper tender records, documentation, and cost databases.
- Monitor tender opportunities through government and private procurement portals.
- Assist in preparing company profiles, pre-qualification documents, and capability statements.
- Support contract administration and project handover upon successful tender awards.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
JOB REQUIREMENT/QUALIFICATION
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in M&E tendering, estimation, quantity surveying, procurement, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of M&E materials, equipment, supplier networks, and market pricing.
- Experience in cost estimation, tender pricing, quotation evaluation, and budget preparation.
- Familiarity with government and private sector tendering processes will be an added advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BQ).
- Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Highly organized, meticulous, and able to manage multiple tender submissions within tight deadlines.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Applicant must be willing to work in Cyberjaya, Selangor.
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
