Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving sustainable business growth. This role focuses on expanding the company's distribution network, merchant ecosystem, and strategic collaborations while strengthening the company's market presence locally and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and distribution channels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, merchants, distributors, and key business partners.
- Drive merchant acquisition and business expansion for the company's hybrid marketplace platform.
- Develop and implement business growth strategies to achieve revenue and expansion targets.
- Conduct market research, analyse industry trends, and identify emerging business opportunities.
- Prepare business proposals, negotiate partnership agreements, and manage key accounts.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Product teams to support business growth initiatives.
- Represent the company at networking events, exhibitions, and industry conferences.
- Prepare regular business development reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates for management.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, sales, or account management.
- Experience in direct selling, e-commerce, marketplace platforms, health & wellness, or FMCG is an advantage.
- Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and commercial acumen.
- Willing to travel for business development and partnership activities.
