Position Summary
We are seeking a talented, design-driven, and meticulous Architect to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be involved in various stages of international and local projects, from conceptual design and design development through to documentation and site coordination. The ideal candidate has a strong aesthetic sensibility, robust technical knowledge, and the ability to translate visionary concepts into high-quality built realities.
Job Responsibilities
- Design & Conception: Assist in the creation, development, and refinement of architectural concepts, presentations, and design proposals for high-end residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed architectural drawings, schematic designs, and comprehensive construction documentation using advanced design software.
- Coordination & Collaboration: Liaise and coordinate closely with clients, internal multi-disciplinary teams (interior, landscape), structural/MEP consultants, and contractors to ensure design integrity is maintained.
- Compliance & Authority Submission: Assist in ensuring all architectural designs comply with relevant local and international building codes, planning guidelines, and regulatory frameworks.
- Site & Project Management: Attend site meetings and conduct site inspections as required to resolve design and technical issues during the construction phase.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: A recognized degree in Architecture (Master’s or Bachelor’s) or equivalent professional qualification.
- Technical Proficiency: High proficiency in architectural design and documentation tools, particularly Revit (BIM), AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
- Skills & Knowledge: Strong understanding of architectural construction detailing, materials, and global building technologies. Familiarity with Singapore building codes and authority submission procedures is highly advantageous.
- Portfolio: A strong and curated portfolio demonstrating excellent design capabilities, conceptual thinking, and technical drawing skills is mandatory.
- Soft Skills: Excellent visual, verbal, and written communication skills. Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team under tight deadlines.
