Position: PR Executive
Reporting Line: Reports directly to the Outlet Manager and the Management Office.
Key Role Objective
To drive customer engagement, increase walk-in traffic, and ensure the flawless execution of leagues and events. This role is highly operational and hands-on, focused on training outlet staff to deliver a consistent, premium customer experience while maintaining a direct line of communication with leadership.
Core Job Scope
1. Customer Engagement & Public Relations (Lead Role)
- Lead by Example: Ensure all staff deliver superior engagement and service standards.
- Service Standards: Set and enforce protocols for greeting customers, promoting packages, and resolving inquiries or complaints.
- On-the-Ground Presence: Actively engage with customers during peak hours to build strong relationships with regulars and league players.
- Experience Oversight: Ensure every customer enjoys a seamless and high-energy bowling experience.
2. Staff Training & Development (Critical Focus)
- Skills Training: Educate outlet staff on proactive customer engagement, upselling techniques, and basic PR communication.
- Active Engagement: Ensure staff are never passive; the PR Executive is responsible for transforming the team into an active, customer-centric unit.
- Performance Monitoring: Conduct daily on-the-job training, monitor staff behavior, and provide immediate corrective guidance to maintain service standards.
3. League & Event Execution
- Management: Plan, organize, and oversee bowling leagues and tournaments from start to finish.
- Operational Flow: Ensure games run on time, lane allocations are accurate, and scoring systems are functioning.
- Cross-Department Coordination: Work closely with technicians and counter staff to preemptively resolve delays or technical issues.
- Retention: Maintain high player satisfaction to ensure long-term league retention.
4. Walk-In Growth & Sales Support
- Growth Initiatives: Execute targeted promotions designed to increase foot traffic and repeat visits.
- Sales Coaching: Guide staff on how to effectively communicate and upsell ongoing promotions and membership packages.
5. Marketing & Digital Presence
- Social Media: Update platforms with real-time outlet activities, league highlights, and upcoming campaigns.
- Lead Conversion: Respond promptly to digital inquiries and convert them into confirmed visits or lane bookings.
6. Operational Support (Floating Cashier)
- Versatility: Act as a floating cashier when required to alleviate counter congestion.
- Flow Management: Support general counter operations to ensure a smooth customer journey during high-traffic periods.
7. Monitoring, Reporting & Accountability
- Continuous Monitoring: Track staff engagement levels, league efficiency, and walk-in trends.
- Reporting Structure: Provide comprehensive daily/weekly reports to the Outlet Manager and the Management Office.
- Strategic Feedback: Proactively report operational bottlenecks and propose data-driven improvements to Management to enhance outlet performance.
Key HR Expectations
This is not a desk-based role. The PR Executive is an operational leader who spends the majority of their time on the floor. You are responsible for the dual mandate of Marketing Execution and Operational Excellence, ensuring that both the staff you train and the events you manage reflect the high standards of the brand.
