Role Description The Junior Interior Designer will support the design team in developing interior concepts, preparing mood boards, and assisting with space planning for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day tasks include producing drawings and layouts, helping create FF&E selections and schedules, and coordinating with vendors and suppliers for materials and finishes. The role involves assisting with site measurements, documentation, and following up on construction progress to ensure design intent is maintained. This is a contract role based in Cyberjaya with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site collaboration with some work-from-home flexibility. The Junior Interior Designer will work closely with senior designers to refine design proposals and ensure project deadlines are met.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Interior Design and Architecture, with the ability to translate concepts into practical spatial solutions.
• Proficiency in Space Planning, ensuring efficient, functional, and aesthetically pleasing layouts.
• Ability to produce accurate Construction Drawings and documentation for implementation and coordination.
• Knowledge of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment), including sourcing, specification, and scheduling.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Basic proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools.
• Strong visual communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow design guidelines and brand standards.
• Good organizational skills, time management, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid setup in Cyberjaya and to visit project sites as required.
