Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Manager role based in Subang Jaya. The Project Manager oversees end-to-end project planning, coordination, and execution to ensure deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Daily responsibilities include managing project schedules, coordinating with expeditors and logistics teams, monitoring inspections and quality checks, and resolving operational issues. The role also involves communicating with clients and internal stakeholders, preparing project reports, and ensuring compliance with company standards and industry regulations. The Project Manager is expected to lead cross-functional teams, optimize workflows, and support continuous improvement in engineering and logistics processes.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong project management skills, including Project Management experience and the ability to oversee complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
• Candidates should possess expediting-related skills, such as Expeditor experience and Expediting capabilities to track orders, follow up with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Candidates should possess logistics-focused skills, including Logistics Management expertise to coordinate transportation, warehousing, and supply chain activities.
• Candidates should possess inspection-related skills, including Inspection experience to support quality control, verification of materials, and compliance with specifications.
• Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field are beneficial.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and proficiency in project management tools and MS Office.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and clients.
• Experience in engineering or industrial projects, and familiarity with safety, regulatory, and quality standards, is an advantage.

Job scope

• Plan and execute automation projects, including the development of scheduling timelines and the allocation of resources, while liaising directly with customers throughout the course of project implementation.
• Coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverables, and monitor main contractors and subcontractors to ensure strict adherence to quality standards and project schedules.
• Analyse data generated throughout project execution to support informed decision-making.
• Organise and chair meetings with technical teams and customers.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with cross-functional teams, departments, vendors, and suppliers.
• Prepare comprehensive project proposals and status reports.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
