Job Description:
Summary
Operate production equipment and perform assembly, testing, and packing to meet quality, safety, and output targets for Intrix products (e.g., hot water system, water filtration components).
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and shut down assigned machines/workstations per SOPs.
- Assemble parts and sub-assemblies accurately using jigs, tools, and fixtures.
- Perform in-process quality checks (dimensions, visual, leak/pressure tests) and record results.
- Escalate defects, equipment issues, or material shortages promptly (follow Andon/escalation process).
- Complete production orders, labels, and traceability documentation in a timely manner.
- Maintain 5S at the workstation; clean and organize tools, parts, and materials.
- Adhere to safety rules (PPE, LOTO, chemical handling) and report near misses/incidents.
- Support line changeovers, basic maintenance (autonomous maintenance), and continuous improvement (Kaizen).
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Warehouse to meet daily plans.
- Pack finished goods per WI and ensure correct documentation for shipment.
Key Requirements
- SPM or equivalent; technical/vocational certificate is an advantage.
- 0–2 years’ experience in manufacturing/assembly; fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
- Able to read simple drawings/work instructions; basic measurement skills (ruler, caliper).
- Physically fit to stand, bend, and lift up to ~15–20 kg with proper technique.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry/scanning (barcodes, production system).
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and OT when required.
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
