• Assist Head of Production to manage and lead a team of production staff to achieve objectives or production target set out in departmental.
• Liaise with QC production to monitor Product Quality and support in troubleshooting and report writing.
• Perform routine and regular inspection of machinery and equipment in all production lines,
• Attend to breakdown, maintenance and minor repair by arranging and organizing repair and maintenance crews.
• Prepare and arrange maintenance work schedule beforehand in anticipating of production plant shut down for maintenance and repair.
• Organizes and directs the production staff and mechanical personnel in their functions of breakdown repairs, inspection, adjustments lubrication and housekeeping of machinery/ equipment, preventive & predictive maintenance.
• Keep proper records on inspection, breakdown, maintenance and repair jobs in company system.
• Arrange and plan suitable maintenance and repairs schedules to machinery and equipment to ensure their continued efficient function at the same time not to disrupt production schedule.
• Monitor dust and air pollution with respect to dust collectors.
• Ensure availability of suitable and sufficient stocks of spare parts by means of purchase of fabrication.
• Maintains close liaison and relationship with the service departments with a view to maximizing production and minimizing breakdowns.
• Informs and discussed with Head of any proposal for modifications or innovations with a view to increase the efficiency of the performance of the section machinery / personnel under his charge..
• Organize and carries out training programs for personnel and newcomers for them to learn new skills. Monitors the performance of personnel with the view to improve and maintain their performance standard.
• Identify training needs and source/organize training programs for subordinates.
• People management, manpower planning and disciplinary handling.
• Motivate and promote team spirits amongst subordinates and peers.
• Create a conducive safe work environment and cultivate spirit of “Safety First”.
• Implementation and Management of Safety, 5S & ISO
• Product and Manufacturing Process at Production Floor. Look at ways on monitoring the performance & optimize production.
• Do Analytical Research and Product Development – develop best practices, routines and innovation solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.

a) Follow all safety procedures & regulations and ensure safe work environment.

b) Implement and participate actively in 5S activities for the Department & Organization.

c) Support other key strategic 5S programs where necessary.

d) Adhere to ISO standards compliance.

• Ensuring that the quality management system conforms to the requirement of ISO9001:2015 & ISO14001:2015.
• Any other duties as assigned by superior or Management from time to time.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

a) Min Degree in Engineering or Science or equivalent.

b) Min 3-5 years working experience in related field.

c) Good leadership, communication, problem solving, presentation, planning and organizing

skills.

d) Proficiency in computer, production system and MS Office.

Pay: RM3,800.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
