Position Title: Electrical Engineering Intern – Project Support

Role Summary

The Electrical Engineering Intern will support EV charging station project activities, with a strong focus on project documentation, site coordination, and technical support. The intern will assist in sitewalks, review technical proposals, coordinate with stakeholders, and support documentation related to permits, fiber requests, safety requirements, and project submissions.

Key Responsibilities

Documentation & Project Administration

• Prepare, submit, store, and maintain relevant project documentation for EV charging station projects.
• Assist in submitting Permit to Work requests for internal approval.
• Prepare and coordinate Fiber Request Form submissions to TIME Fiber.
• Maintain proper records of approvals, drawings, technical proposals, forms, site reports, and correspondence.
• Track documentation progress and follow up with internal and external parties to ensure timely submission.

Sitewalk & Technical Support

• Attend sitewalks for EV charging station projects together with internal engineers and stakeholders.
• Support the review of technical proposals related to EV charger installation, power requirements, cable routing, and site readiness.
• Record site observations, electrical requirements, constraints, and follow-up action items.
• Assist engineers in compiling site information, technical inputs, and project-related documents.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate with building management, internal engineers, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Follow up on pending site requirements such as Fire Extinguisher delivery and related safety items.
• Support communication between project teams and external parties to ensure smooth project execution.
• Help monitor assigned tasks, deadlines, approvals, and submissions.

Requirements

·       Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field.

·       Basic understanding of electrical systems, power supply, wiring, distribution boards, cable routing, or EV charging infrastructure.

·       Good communication and coordination skills.

·       Strong attention to detail, especially in documentation and technical follow-up.

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

·       Willing to attend site visits when required.
