Job Summary / Purpose:-

QC Assistant II involve in implementation of activities to achieve departmental KPI and work function for own discipline and/or functional area. It should be in line with QC Department procedure, as well as international standard (ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, and GMP). Maintain Quality Control and Quality Assurance system on its effectiveness and continuous improvement. Work closely with Operations team in order to achieve effectiveness of the Quality system.

Operations

• Perform the quality inspections and controls according to the documented procedures and Quality Plan.
• Ensure daily inspection record is completed before submission to superior at the end of the day.
• To carry out inspection on the incoming and in-process material.
• To ensure working environment is according to 5S requirement, maintain the checking equipment and ensure equipment is use according to procedure.
• To liaise with other department personnel on the possible causes of quality related problems and provide accurate, relevant and timely product and process quality information to superior in support of decision making.
• Support the activities of QC department in order to ensure it delivers an effective service to other departments by understanding customer requirement.
• Perform control of non-conforming process when detected non-conformance product and follow up on the “On Hold” item.
• To ensure proper labelling on the good and reject products.
• Raise NCR for internal non-conformance product.
• To comply with safety and health rules and regulations and play an active role in creating a safe and healthy workplace.
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Essential Criteria

· Minimum SPM or equivalent

· Able to read and write simple English

· Computer literate

· Not color blind

Desirable Criteria

• Able to work well with others
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively within and inter-department.
• Able to deliver accurate and timely information regarding work
• Assist in ad hoc assignment / task when necessary.

Diploma and Equivalent
