Job Summary

Responsible for supporting and coordinating Bus & Chassis assembly activities, particularly KD kit operations, ensuring smooth production flow, quality compliance, and effective coordination with King Long factory and local assemblers. The role plays a critical part in maintaining product quality standards and improving assembly efficiency for the Malaysia market.

Key Responsibilities

1. KD Kit & Factory Coordination

• Support and advise King Long KD Coordinator at Xiamen Factory on KD kit assembly matters.
• Provide and ensure compliance with SOP for KD assembly processes.
• Resolve unpacking part discrepancies and online quality issues related to assembled chassis.
• Coordinate promptly with King Long factory PIC for technical clarifications and issue resolution.

2. Assembly Technical Support

• Support and advise local assembly plants on:
• Assembly instructions
• Variant changes
• Technical modifications
• Engineering resolutions
• Ensure accurate interpretation of technical drawings and assembly documentation.
• Provide on-site technical assistance when required.

3. Production & Supply Coordination

• Coordinate local supply components accurately and timely to ensure smooth production flow at TQ and other ad-hoc assembly plants.
• Monitor assembly progress and identify potential bottlenecks.

4. Quality & Issue Management

• Respond quickly to quality matters to prevent customer complaints.
• Coordinate corrective and preventive actions with Engineering, Production and After-Sales teams.
• Support initiatives to enhance King Long product quality in Malaysia market.
• Drive continuous improvement activities to improve productivity and reduce assembly defects.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with:
• Engineering
• Production
• After-Sales
• Procurement
• King Long overseas factory
• Act as technical liaison between factory and local assembly teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electromechanical / Mechanical / Automotive Engineering.
• 4–6 years experience in automotive assembly, commercial vehicle or bus manufacturing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle assembly processes and quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions.
• Experience in handling KD kits or CKD operations is an added advantage.
• Good coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to travel locally and overseas if required.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,700.00 per month
