AStar has partnered with a well-known F&B brand to support its recruitment. This vacancy is for the brand's outlet, and AStar is acting as the recruitment partner.

Position: Service Crew (2 vacancies)

Location: Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall, Bandar Sunway, Selangor

Employment type: Full-time

Salary: RM1,800-RM2,300 per month

About the role

You will support smooth front-of-house operations and provide a welcoming dining experience in a busy shopping-mall outlet.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the dining area before opening and ensure condiments, napkins, sanitised tableware and other supplies are well stocked.

• Check that front-of-house equipment and lighting are operating properly and report issues promptly.

• Welcome customers, assist with seating and service, and clear and reset tables efficiently.

• Maintain cleanliness and food-safety standards throughout the shift.

• Follow the outlet's halal handling and segregation procedures for food, utensils, equipment and work areas.

• Support order taking, cashiering, packing or other outlet duties when required.

• Carry out other reasonable duties assigned by the outlet manager.

Requirements

• Legally entitled to work in Malaysia.

• Customer-focused, friendly, reliable and able to work well in a diverse team.

• Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays according to the roster.

• Physically able to perform standing, cleaning and service duties during a shift.

• Holds, or is willing to obtain, the food-handler training/certification and health compliance required for the role.

• Previous restaurant or halal F&B service experience is an advantage, but training can be provided.

What is offered

• Monthly salary of RM1,800-RM2,300.

• Attendance allowance of RM100-RM150 per month, subject to the outlet's attendance policy.

• Two complimentary halal staff meals per working day.

• Practical on-the-job training and exposure to outlet operations.
