About Us

We are a growing construction company specializing in residential, commercial, and industrial projects. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team and help manage project costs, contracts, and procurement while ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, project budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BQ).
• Carry out quantity take-offs from architectural and engineering drawings.
• Prepare tender documents and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Source and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to achieve the best value.
• Prepare Letters of Award (LOA), subcontract agreements, and purchase orders.
• Monitor and manage project timelines by coordinating with project managers, site supervisors, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure works are completed according to schedule.
• Track project progress, identify potential delays, and propose solutions to maintain project milestones and completion dates.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and submit progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts.
• Evaluate and certify subcontractor progress claims and supplier invoices.
• Maintain accurate cost reports, procurement records, and project documentation.
• Attend site visits, progress meetings, and coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Ensure all procurement and contract activities comply with company policies and project requirements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality, safety, or project timelines.
• Assist management in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience (Fresh graduates with strong knowledge are encouraged to apply).
• Good knowledge of construction materials, methods, and costing.
• Experience in tendering and contract administration is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and AutoCAD (knowledge of QS software is an added advantage).
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Possess a valid driving license and willing to travel to project sites when required.
