Role Description The Search Engine Optimization Specialist is a full-time role responsible for improving the firm’s online visibility and driving qualified traffic to its digital channels. This is a hybrid position based in Shah Alam, where the specialist will work both onsite and from home as required. Day-to-day tasks include conducting keyword research, performing SEO audits, optimizing on-page elements, and developing ethical link-building strategies aligned with the firm’s brand and legal services. The specialist will monitor and report on performance using web analytics tools, recommend data-driven improvements, and collaborate with marketing and content teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into website content, blogs, and campaigns. The role also involves staying current with search engine algorithm updates, SEO trends, and compliance guidelines relevant to professional services and legal marketing.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in keyword research and on-page SEO, including optimizing titles, meta descriptions, headings, and content structure.
  • Experience conducting comprehensive SEO audits and implementing technical and content-related recommendations.
  • Practical knowledge of link building strategies, including outreach and off-page optimization that follow ethical and compliant practices.
  • Ability to use web analytics and SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEO platforms) to track performance and produce clear reports.
  • Understanding of content strategy and basic digital marketing principles, especially in professional services or B2B environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to explain SEO concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Relevant experience in SEO; a background in marketing, communications, IT, or related fields is beneficial. Familiarity with legal or professional services sectors is an advantage.
