Manage customer enquiries and bookings to ensure satisfactory service delivery while assisting in securing sales and customer retention.
- Attend to customer enquiries via telephone, email, or fax in a timely and professional manner.
- Source suitable vendors or service providers whenever outsourced services are required.
- Provide customers with pricing, service availability, and professional advice.
- Follow up on quotations to secure customer acceptance and booking. Upon acceptance, forward the confirmed quotation to the Billing Department.
- Liaise effectively between customers, vendors, agents, and the Operations Department to ensure smooth service execution.
- Update customers regularly on shipment progress.
- Respond to customer enquiries and notify customers of cargo damage, claim investigation results, or any planned service adjustments as and when required.
- Maintain, develop, and strengthen long-term relationships with customers through phone calls, emails, and service quality follow-ups.
- Create jobs in the system upon receiving confirmed bookings.
- Follow up with transporters, vendors, agents, and the Operations Department to ensure shipments progress according to the agreed timeline.
- Notify the Billing Department of any additional costs incurred to ensure accurate billing.
- Apply for Dagang Net, MAQIS, Certificate of Origin (CO), SOLAS, appointment letters, or other required documentation for new customers, where applicable.
- Monitor destination customs clearance (for door delivery shipments) with overseas agents to ensure timely delivery to the consignee.
- Verify suppliers' invoices upon receipt to ensure billing accuracy.
- Provide training, coaching, and guidance to subordinates and newly hired staff.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management from time to time.
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
